The main venue for the lectures and social events is St Andrew's Church, Grinton where evening meals will be arranged for the Friday and Saturday nights and there will be a bar provided by a local brewery. The church offers a spacious facility for the lectures and evening socialising with travel to sites of surface and underground visits usually within 30 minutes' drive.

Parking for conference delegates and camping for tents and motorhomes is located on the opposite side of the River Swale, a 2-minute walk from the main venue along with portable toilets.
