CATERING - 2022
Link to conference mapGrosmont has limited places to eat and they can potentially be very busy on weekends when the steam trains are running. The following options (plus vegetarian alternatives) will be available to delegates to book in advance.
Breakfast
Breakfasts will be available Friday-Monday for those staying at Holme House only, pre-booking is essential.
The kitchen facilities at Holme House will be required exclusively for the caterers, so will not be available to delegates for personal use during Breakfast. Tea and Coffee making facilities will be available.
Lunches
A cold buffet lunch will be available on Saturday and Sunday between the morning and afternoon lecture programme at St Matthews in Grosmont, pre-booking is essential.
Packed Lunches
Packed lunches for delegates out and about can be pre-booked for collection from St Matthews at Grosmont. The village is only served by a small Co-op shop, so options for purchasing yourself may be limited.
Friday Evening
Fish and chips (and alternatives - see booking form) will be delivered to St Matthews at Grosmont between 19:30 and 20:30, pre-booking is essential.
The bar will be open from 4pm to 11pm for delegates to catch up with friends.
Saturday Evening
A curry meal and desert will be served at St Matthews in Grosmont, pre-booking is essential. A non-spicy alternative will also be available

Sunday Evening
As there will be no organised catering on Sunday evening, it may be possible for a local pub to extend its serving of Sunday lunches beyond 6pm. Please specify an interest on the booking form but remember this is NOT a guarantee. If there are sufficient numbers we will attempt to make a booking.
Other Places to Eat
Grosmont does have some limited options for eating but remember the village can be very busy with tourists on weekends with good weather.
Pullman Dining services will be operating on the North York Moors Railway, these should be booked directly with the NYMR, note they are likely to be booked up very early and their popularity is reflected in the price.
